Job summary

CEIA USA, based in Hudson, OH, seeks a Field Applications Engineer to be the technical expert in metal detectors. The role includes delivering trainings, supporting customers, and assisting sales with technical presentations and tradeshows.

You will perform on-site installations, develop training materials, and collaborate with the Technical Director and sales team. Occasional travel up to 75% is required, with potential remote work and a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physics or Electrical/Electronic is required.
• 1-3 years in security detection or related fields; strong technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical trainings/re-certifications to internal employees, customers, and commercial partners.
• Assist with design, development, and evaluation of training programs for internal teams and customers.
• Perform on-site installation and training of new and legacy equipment.
• Create reports documenting results of trials and customer interactions.
• Maintain knowledge of all company products.
