CEIA USA, LTD, headquartered in Hudson, OH, is a world leading manufacturer of security screening equipment. The repair technician will provide service and customer support, troubleshoot, repair, and advise clients on system operation and requirements.

The role entails handling electrical/electronic and mechanical issues, documenting processes, and collaborating with the technical team. Travel for training is possible.

Formación

• 2-Year Technical degree, apprenticeship program, or equivalent in a technical or military field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in electrical/electronic and mechanical fields or related professional position.
• Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Experience speaking with clients assisting them over the phone by troubleshooting equipment.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and equipment, including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment.
• Advise customers on operation procedures and requirements of systems.
• Communicate effectively over the phone to assist customers.
• Test and verify the functionality of the equipment sent in for repair.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
• Document processes and complete required documentation.
• Collaborate with technical team to resolve technical issues.
• Complete pre-sale upgrades and conversions as needed to meet customer orders.
• Evaluate, refurbish systems returned from demonstrations and rental activities.
• Understand technical problems effectively through proper analysis, evaluation and diagnoses.
• Set up basic network connections and troubleshoot basic network connections; define IP address by assigning subnet and IP address.
