Job summary

Quectel Wireless Solutions in the United States is seeking a Field Application Engineer to support customers through design, testing, and mass production of 4G/5G modules. You will diagnose issues, provide schematic reviews, and deliver reference designs and training.

Qualifications

Experience with RF design, testing, and debugging; familiarity with cellular modules (5G/4G) and related subsystems.

Responsibilities

Act as first responder for customer technical inquiries and diagnose issues remotely or on-site throughout product lifecycle.
Develop deep product portfolio expertise and deliver technical solution documents, reference designs, application notes, and training materials.
Provide technical support during prototype design, including schematic reviews, PCB layout guidance, antenna matching, and RF troubleshooting.
Gather customer pain points and feedback to improve SDKs, docs, tools, and reference designs for easier use.
Own the customer lifecycle from design-in to mass production and post-sales support, ensuring timely assistance at all stages.
Collaborate with Sales, Product Managers, and R&D to feed market requirements and document typical cases.
