Job summary

GlobalFoundries seeks a new college graduate to join as a Design Application Engineer, supporting technical engagement from design concept through tape-out, aiming for first-time-right design execution.

The engineer will build expertise in GF technologies, translate customer requirements into differentiated technical solutions, coordinate with internal experts, resolve adoption barriers, and create the technical collateral and execution plans to support customers.

Qualifications

Education – Graduation with Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering; minimum 3.0 GPA.
English language proficiency – Written & verbal.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Prior internship or co-op is a plus.
Project management and leadership experience are valued.
Familiarity with EDA tools and standard design flows is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Review and reproduce customer and enablement issues and recommend design enablement solutions.
Drive design enablement with internal teams to meet deadlines.
Track actions, risks, and technical closure criteria.
Lead internal projects to improve efficiency.
Create technical collateral and execution plans to support customers.
