Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Field Applications Engineer in the Seattle area. You will lead the technical aspects of the sales cycle, design-in activities, prototyping, and production support for data center and interconnect applications.

You will prepare technical presentations, create CAD models in Creo/SolidWorks, and develop customer-facing materials.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background with 5+ years in customer-facing design/Applications Engineering of electrical hardware components.
Experience providing product marketing and technical support to produce design wins.

Responsibilities

Act as engineering resource on the sales team to lead technical aspects of the sales cycle, including discovery, design, prototyping, and production.
Provide technical marketing support for development and design-in of Commercial Products, including power, memory, storage and IO.
Prepare and participate in technical presentations.
Create 3D-CAD models and manipulate designs.
Develop customer-facing material tailored to specific applications.
Assist customers with technical inquiries and provide product solutions.
