Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Field Applications Engineer to support Tier 1 Data Center clients. The position will be based in the Seattle, WA area.

You will work with the sales and engineering teams to design interconnect solutions, provide technical marketing support, and prepare customer-facing materials. A BS in engineering and 5+ years of design experience are required, with a preference for power interconnect experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical equivalent.
5+ years in customer-facing design or applications engineering of electrical hardware components.
Experience delivering product marketing and technical support to win designs.

Responsibilities

Lead technical aspects of the sales cycle from discovery through production.
Provide technical marketing support for development and design-in of commercial products.
Prepare and participate in technical presentations.
3D-CAD modeling and manipulation.
Develop customer-facing material that is application-specific.
Support customers for all technical inquiries and provide solutions.
Help differentiate products and meet strategic objectives.
Travel as required.
