Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a Field Application Specialist to provide product and process expertise, application knowledge, and technical support across customer programs. You will assist sales with product positioning, demonstrations, and trials, while enabling customers in development, startup, training, and ongoing optimization.

The role requires close collaboration with sales and marketing teams, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic biopharma

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, bioengineering, or life sciences.
• At least 2 years of biopharma experience, including 1 year in a technical role.
• Hands-on product and application expertise for the relevant portfolio.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across levels (sales, technical, users).
• Solid project management and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize activities.
• Proactive, results-driven and collaborative attitude.
• Fluent Mandarin and solid English reading/writing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the customer’s first technical contact on existing products and processes for mature modality, through consulting, presentations, trainings, demonstrations and trials.
• Assist Sales in exploring opportunities, provide technical responses, and generate application trials to position products.
• Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s challenges and needs.
• Provide technical qualification of sales opportunities.
• Facilitate technical closure of the sale.
• Assist customers during initial startup and provide high-quality training.
• Support territorial marketing initiatives.
• Support quality team in handling complaints by troubleshooting customer processes.
• Build strong relationships with customers within the assigned territory.
• Report competitor information and feedback to FAS management.
