CytoArt, Inc. is seeking a Field Application Scientist (FAS) focused on Flow Cytometry & Cell Therapy for the US East Coast.

The role combines deep scientific expertise with strategic commercial input, supporting CAR-T and CGT programs across biopharma, biotech startups, and CROs/CDMOs. You will lead end-to-end technical support, develop custom assays, advise on regulatory validation, and help shape the R&D pipeline while partnering with Sales to accelerate adoption.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, or related life sciences; or Bachelor’s with 5+ years industry experience.
• Hands-on flow cytometry with panel design and data interpretation; proficient with BD FACSCanto/Fortessa/Symphony and FlowJo.
• 3+ years in CAR-T, cell therapy, biopharma, or CRO/CDMO environments; understanding of assay needs across PD, QC, and clinical monitoring.
• Familiarity with analytical method validation, USP/ICH, and GMP/QC workflows.
• Willingness to travel within the East Coast region (approx. 20–30%).

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end flow cytometry technical consultation for CAR-T and cell therapy clients, including experimental design and troubleshooting.
• Design, optimize, and validate custom flow cytometry protocols for client-specific models and targets.
• Guide regulatory standards and validation of analytical methods for QC release and PK/PD monitoring.
• Organize and deliver technical seminars, demonstrations, and workshops; gather market feedback for R&D.
• Collaborate with Sales/BD to identify client needs and drive technical adoption.
