Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Field Applications Manager- Flow Cytometry to lead a team across the upper Midwest and Northeast regions.

You will mentor Field Applications Scientists, support sales, present at conferences, and oversee pre/post-sales technical and scientific support with travel up to 85%.

This role offers a remote work arrangement and a salary range of $120–$150K plus bonus.

Qualifications

• BSc, MSc or PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or related life science discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in flow cytometry. 2+ years in a life science leadership or management role preferred but not required.
• Experience in applications, technical support, or field-based scientific role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Field Applications Scientists.
• Support sales growth strategy and funnel acceleration via applications collaboration and positioning of value added services.
• Represent the company as a leader at conferences and workshops.
• Oversee technical and scientific pre- and post-sales support for customers, including presentations, demonstrations, protocol development, training and troubleshooting.
• Establish best practices, standard work, workflows, and performance metrics for the applications team.
• Ensure team performance accountability and compliance.
• Manage departmental staffing and resource allocation.
