Job summary

Kele Inc. is seeking a Field Application Engineer (FAE) to manage a defined portfolio of industrial instrumentation products and manufacturer relationships.

This role drives product-level strategies to increase revenue, improve profitability, and support the sales organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong product and supplier management experience, excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking with execution focus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in cross-functional environments and managing priorities.
• 5+ years with industrial instrumentation products or related solutions.
• Ability to apply technical product knowledge to customer applications.
• Experience supporting sales teams through training and solution development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product line strategies aligned with goals and sales initiatives.
• Manage lifecycle planning, portfolio positioning and cross-selling for products.
• Monitor industry trends and adjust positioning and strategy.
• Lead strategy for a portfolio of industrial instrumentation products.
• Identify opportunities to expand offerings and vendor partnerships.
• Own day-to-day manufacturer and supplier relationships.
• Negotiate pricing, programs, rebates, and marketing funds.
• Coordinate communication between suppliers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with vendors on joint business planning to grow market share.
• Attend distributor meetings to represent Kele Industrial Automation.
• Train sales teams and provide product expertise to support opportunities.
• Guide customers in product selection across diverse end markets.
• Translate customer requirements into effective solutions.
