Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to support customers through evaluation, qualification, and deployment of semiconductor solutions. You will act as the main technical liaison among customers, supplier partners, and internal teams, combining deep component knowledge with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

The role involves on-site support, technical presentations, and training, with travel within North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2+ years in an FAE, Applications Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Product Engineer, or similar role.
• Understanding of semiconductor devices, memory products, electronic components, or embedded systems.
• Ability to diagnose customer technical issues and communicate with engineering teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and customer relationship skills.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturers, distributors, manufacturers' representatives, or electronics companies is preferred.
• Knowledge of memory products (DRAM, NAND, SSDs, eMMC) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for customers regarding semiconductor and electronic component solutions.
• Troubleshoot product-related issues and work with supplier engineering teams to develop resolutions.
• Provide on-site customer support, technical presentations, and product training as needed.
• Assist customers with component selection, product qualification, and application support.
• Coordinate investigations involving quality, reliability, and field performance concerns.
• Interface between customers, suppliers, sales teams, and engineering groups to drive issue resolution.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, root cause analyses, and customer communications.
• Support design-in opportunities and help identify new technical business opportunities.
• Travel locally and occasionally throughout North America to support key customers.
