Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is seeking a technical solutions specialist to drive pre-sales and post-sales support for commercial client and datacenter opportunities in the Midwest. You will work with end customers and OEM partners to demonstrate AMD technology and shape winning deployments.

You will collaborate with AMD teams to build compelling technical presentations, assist sales, and help translate business needs into robust AMD-based solutions across server and client platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with large enterprise customers
• Datacenter solutions knowledge including client software environments
• Knowledge of CPU/Server architecture, benchmarks, GPU computing
• Understanding of platform development from concept to production
• Hands-on server hardware ecosystem experience
• Experience setting up/configuring client systems (software, networking, storage)

Responsibilities

• Develop technical relationships with target end customer accounts and OEM partners
• Win new commercial opportunities by designing technical solutions based on AMD technology
• Create presentations and documentation with cross-BU teams for field delivery
• Improve support for large enterprise customers by channeling feedback to AMD BU/engineering
• Provide technical assistance to sales and customers in evaluation, design, and development of AMD-based solutions
• Lead technical sessions and architect solutions aligned with customer goals
• Translate customer needs into AMD product opportunities and engagements
• Understand competitive landscape and articulate AMD differentiation
