Job summary

Qnity in the United States is seeking an experienced electronics design professional to lead development and manufacturing support for customer programs across the Southeast region. You will work with OEMs, distributors, and sales teams to deliver technical design solutions and ensure successful product outcomes.

The role requires strong solid-modeling and multi-physics analysis skills, plus a track record in thermal, EMI, or related design disciplines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field.
6–10 years in a similar position in electronics design/manufacturing.
3–5 years at component or subsystem design level.
3–5 years in thermal management, EMI, or microwave absorbers.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with OEM engineers and sales teams to implement solutions.
Attend customer meetings and provide design support while building relationships.
Use Laird and Qnity products to craft design solutions.
Present designs using modeling and simulation techniques.
Lead projects through a multi-disciplinary design team.
Coordinate internal activities to meet product development timelines.
Set priorities for multiple programs in development.
Keep skills current to stay competitive in a global market.
Travel to customer sites up to ~50% as needed.
Ensure adherence to quality and safety systems.
