Job summary

Qnity seeks a Field Application Engineer to support customers in the Bay Area region, collaborating with sales and manufacturing to meet design targets. You will leverage SolidWorks, FEA, and thermal/EMI expertise to deliver robust electronics-focused solutions.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 6+ years in related roles, and strong cross-functional communication. This role is based in Northern California with regional focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or technical field.
• 6+ years experience in a relevant position.
• 3+ years experience at component or subsystem design.

Responsibilities

• Work with OEM engineers, reps, distributors and sales to implement solutions.
• Attend customer meetings and provide technical design support while building relationships.
• Present design solutions using modeling and simulation.
• Drive customer interactions from prototype to initial production.
• Release final production documentation with critical dimensions and tolerances.
• Lead a multi-discipline engineering design team through product development.
