Job summary

STEPS TALENT LLC is seeking a Field Application Engineer to support DC/DC converter solutions for data centers, focusing on power electronics and system integration. You will work cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams to drive design wins and accelerate adoption.

Engagement with OEM/ODM customers, translating requirements into specifications and providing technical training will be core duties, as you help customers progress from concept to validated implementations.

Qualifications

Strong background in DC/DC converters and power electronics.
Experience in field applications, solutions engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
Knowledge of data center hardware and power systems.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical lead for DC/DC converter applications, supporting customer design and integration.
Partner with sales, product, and engineering teams to develop and position solutions that meet customer requirements.
Engage with OEM/ODM customers early in the design cycle to drive design-ins.
Translate customer needs into product specifications and system-level solutions.
Provide technical training and develop training materials for internal teams and partners.
Coordinate with manufacturing teams to track project progress.
Support system validation, testing, and implementation activities.
Monitor market trends and recommend new application opportunities.
Identify risks and proactively communicate issues to stakeholders.
