Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas seeks a Field Application Engineer – Intelligent Power Systems to be the technical lead for UPS, PCS, AiO, and BESS solutions in North America data center environments. You will partner with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to design, size, integrate, and Commission systems.

The role covers customer-facing support, technical presentations, FAT/SAT, training, and travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
3–5+ years with UPS, PCS, AiO, BESS, power distribution or critical power.
Experience with three-phase and single-phase electrical systems (120V–690V).

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical expert for IPS portfolio: UPS, PCS, AiO, BESS, PDUs, STS.
Support sales with technical presentations, demos, solutions, and application engineering.
Assist customers with sizing, electrical design, distribution, redundancy, runtimes, and integration.
Support commissioning, FAT/SAT, and post-installation technical support.
Collaborate with PM, R&D, and Global Engineering to improve products and resolve issues.
Develop technical documentation and training for customers and partners.
Travel up to 30% across North America for support and training.
