Job summary

Alert Holdings Group LLC in Hawaii is hiring a Service Technician to perform security alarm service, diagnose malfunctions, and ensure systems function properly. You will test batteries, keypads, sirens, and related equipment, perform repairs, and provide clear guidance to customers.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED, 1–2 years alarm experience, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years alarm experience and low voltage experience preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Safe driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to work 80% of the time in the field, with consistent movement.

Responsibilities

• Tests backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, and all security features to ensure proper functioning.
• Troubleshooting to determine areas needing repair and prompt reporting of defective material or equipment.
• Repairs security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment.
• Examines systems to locate problems such as loose connections or broken insulation.
• Demonstrates systems and explains causes and consequences of false alarms.
• Cleans up debris from the alarm service work area.
• Provides excellent customer service aligned with company mission.
