Job summary

Alert Alarm Hawaii is seeking a Security Technician to install and service access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarm systems within Hawaii. This full-time, on-site position involves handling low-voltage cabling, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating on small projects.

Applicants should hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, have 1 year of technician experience, a clean background, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a technician.
• Clean Background Check – must access County, State and Federal worksites.
• Clean and valid driver’s license.
• Understanding of construction sites, best practices, and worksite safety.
• Motivated, team-oriented, and quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Install, service & maintain intrusion, camera, and access control systems.
• Install cabling for low-voltage systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on systems and components.
• Work independently or with a team on small access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
• Understand work tickets and Sedona tickets.
• Train and mentor junior installation technicians.
• Read CAD drawings, blueprints, and floor plans.
• Utilize voltmeter/ohm meter, butt set, and tone generator.
• Other duties as assigned.
