Job summary

Rebuild is hiring its first forward deployed engineer to apply AI to restoration contractors’ toughest problems, working directly with customers on-site to ensure accounts run smoothly and are tailored to their workflows.

You will prototype account-specific solutions and collaborate with product and engineering to fold winners into the platform, turning field learnings into roadmap priorities for the whole company.

Qualifications

• Proven track record shipping production code at a startup.
• Full-stack development: backend, UI and data plumbing.
• Ability to scope work from customer conversations amid ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Deployment & implementation: onboard new accounts from signed to running.
• Custom builds: prototype and ship account-specific solutions quickly.
• Field-to-roadmap feedback: translate on-site learnings into specs and priorities for the team.
