Job summary

The SYGMA Network is seeking a Field Account Manager to act as a service-focused representative within an assigned territory. You will maintain contact with SYGMA Customers and collaborate with Distribution Center Management to ensure top-tier customer service.

Travel by car and some air travel are required, with insurance minimums maintained. You will build relationships, provide distribution and value-added services, and conduct business reviews with key customers while driving account

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of direct customer account management.
5-10 years of customer service focused management experience or foodservice sales preferred.
Experience building customer relationships in the food distribution industry welcomed as equivalent to education.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain customer relations through personal contact and telephone calls.
Provide customer-focused distribution and value-added services to customers per requirements.
Meet with key customers and perform business reviews as needed.
Enhance sales by ensuring account penetration through full line purchasing.
Strengthen relationships with Customers, Franchise Owners, and DC Personnel.
Respond to customer concerns with corrective action and urgency.
Foster proactive communication to customers about delays or outages.
Present to large groups and conduct startup meetings with new customers.
Keep informed on new products and general information of interest to customers.
