Job summary

SYGMA Network in Denver is seeking a Field Account Manager to act as a service-focused representative within an assigned territory. You will maintain contacts with SYGMA Customers and collaborate with Distribution Center Management to ensure high customer service levels and profitable growth.

The role requires frequent automobile travel and occasional air travel, with adherence to Sysco’s insurance requirements.

Qualifications

Requires at least a high school diploma; bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years of direct customer account management; 5–10 years in customer service or foodservice sales preferred.
Experience building customer relationships in the food distribution industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain customer relations through personal contact and calls.
Provide customer-focused distribution and value-added services to customers in line with requirements and capabilities.
Meet with key customers and perform business reviews as needed.
Enhance sales by ensuring account penetration through full participation in purchasing.
Strengthen relationships with Customers, Franchise Owners, and DC personnel.
Respond to customer concerns with corrective action and urgency.
Proactively communicate with Customers about delivery delays or product outages.
Present to large groups and conduct startup meetings with new Customers.
