Job summary

SCN - Search Consulting Network seeks an Account Manager to grow customer relationships and drive sales across the Detroit area.

The role is full-time and field-based, with remote work enabled and regular visits to customer sites. You will own and expand existing accounts, develop new business, and collaborate with engineering and purchasing teams to tailor solutions. Candidates should have 2+ years in industrial sales and a strong track record in meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of industrial sales experience and electronics distribution experience preferred.
• CRM experience and familiarity with sales pipeline management are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution, SCM, Marketing or Business Administration preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to make frequent customer-site visits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to grow existing accounts and win new customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits to identify needs and uncover sales opportunities.
• Recommend appropriate equipment and supplies based on customer applications.
• Manage opportunities from prospecting and quotation through follow-up and close.
• Maintain an organized sales pipeline and accurate customer records; meet sales objectives while protecting profitability.
