Job summary

Peyton Resource Group is seeking an Account Manager for its Earth & Ag division to cover the territory north of Tampa. This hunter role focuses on prospecting, building relationships with contractors and business owners, and closing high-ticket equipment sales (JCB/ASV) with a leading manufacturer lineup.

You'll build a pipeline through cold calling, referrals, and on-site visits while engaging decision-makers in construction, earthmoving, and agriculture.

Qualifications

• Direct experience selling heavy earth/ag construction equipment or adjacent capital-equipment/industrial product experience.
• Adjacent backgrounds welcomed with strong hunting/territory experience: material handling, professional tools, industrial distribution.

Responsibilities

• Build a consistent pipeline through cold calling, referrals, networking, and job-site visits.
• Identify and engage decision-makers in construction, earthmoving, and agriculture.
• Work with GC s and contractors, using planning data to identify opportunities.
• Manage long sales cycles from prospecting through closing and delivery.
• Develop a strategic territory plan to maximize new account acquisition.
