Job summary

TriStar JCB is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to support machine sales coverage. You will be the primary liaison between TriStar JCB and customers, driving sales and building long-term relationships.

The role involves handling inbound/outbound inquiries, visiting customers, and coordinating with operations to ensure timely delivery of equipment. Strong communication, CRM, and finance familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of inside/outside sales support, and/or parts/service sales experience preferably in the equipment sales or rental industry.
• Strong customer service skills and a customer-centric approach.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with commercial and consumer finance.
• Motivated/self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and build strong relationships with customers in the industry.
• Handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries, provide product information, and close sales.
• Respond to sales inquiries via phone, in person, and through email.
• Make outbound customer visits to prospective and existing customers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions.
• Provide detailed product information, including features, benefits, and pricing.
• Prepare and process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Follow up on quotes and leads to convert them into sales.
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of equipment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Handle customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and elevate issues when necessary.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
• Provide regular sales updates to management.
• Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
