Job summary

The Field Access Manager (FAM) at Cytokinetics is a field-based access expert responsible for advancing payer access across the Mid Central territory, including Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky. You will travel to engage with healthcare providers, HUB vendors, specialty pharmacies, and payer stakeholders to streamline patient access from prescription to therapy initiation.

You'll collaborate with Market Access, Patient Services, and cross-functional teams to resolve access barriers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business, life sciences, healthcare administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive identification and resolution of patient access barriers across payer coverage, prior authorization, step edits, copay assistance, and specialty pharmacy routing.
• Partner with HCP offices to support benefits verification and payer documentation requirements.
• Analyze HUB, specialty pharmacy, and payer data to identify access gaps and implement compliant process improvements.
• Serve as a field access subject matter expert and provide approved access education to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Patient Services, and HUB vendors to improve pull-through and resolve recurring access friction points.
• Support launch readiness and lifecycle management by identifying barriers early and executing field mitigation strategies.
• Monitor key access metrics and translate insights into action plans.
• Maintain compliant documentation of case activity in CRM systems.
