Job summary

EMD Serono is seeking a Field Access Manager for Rare Tumor products in the assigned northeast region. You will enable patient access and deliver an outstanding experience for providers and patients.

The role requires a strong background in market access, payer systems, and healthcare reimbursement, with substantial travel to visit providers and hospitals. Join a collaborative team focused on improving access to transformative therapies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Sciences, or related fields, or 15 years of job-related experience.
• 8+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, sales, market access.
• Minimum 2 years field access/reimbursement or 2 years of rare tumor field market access/sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Reimbursement support: assist providers in navigating reimbursement and patient access for Rare Tumor products, including prior authorizations and appeals.
• Education and training: conduct HUB services training for providers and staff on reimbursement processes and coding.
• Patient assistance: help patients understand insurance benefits and access patient assistance programs.
• Stakeholder collaboration: work with sales, marketing, medical affairs to optimize access and reimbursement strategies.
• Compliance: ensure activities comply with policies and regulations.
• Data analysis: monitor reimbursement trends and suggest improvements.
• Field visits: visit providers to offer hands-on support and build relationships.
• Patient access leadership: develop tactical plans to meet access goals with leadership.
• Strategy and execution: assist with projects to streamline patient access.
