Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Field Access Manager to eliminate access barriers and educate on prior authorizations. This field-based role requires residence in the assigned territory and travel up to 75% to engage payers, providers, and patient support programs.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in healthcare field roles, with 2+ years in FAM/RAM and neurology experience preferred. Strong payer knowledge and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of healthcare, field customer, and/or account management in pharma
• 2+ years as an FAM or RAM with retail medications, neurology preferred
• Must reside in the territory and be able to travel up to 50–75%

Responsibilities

• Educate on payer policies and prior authorization processes
• Build strong relationships with customers and overcome obstacles
• Lead Axsome patient support programs and payer utilization management
• Collaborate with Managed Markets and Sales on access opportunities
• Educate sales colleagues on product access and patient support programs
• Maintain knowledge of local and national payer landscape
• Communicate territory activity accurately and timely
• Travel as required by business needs
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines
