Job summary

EMD Serono in the United States seeks a Field Access Manager for Rare Tumor to help patients access transformative therapies and support healthcare providers across the assigned region. Reporting to the Director, Field Access, Rare Tumor, you will be an essential part of ensuring timely treatment and unobstructed coverage for EMDS products.

You will lead reimbursement efforts, educate providers on HUB services, and collaborate with sales, marketing, and medical affairs to optimize patient

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, sciences, or related field or 15 years of job-related experience.
• 8+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, sales, market access.
• Minimum 2 years field access/reimbursement or 2 years rare tumor field market access/sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Reimbursement Support: assist providers with prior authorizations, appeals, and denials.
• Education and Training: conduct HUB services training for providers and staff.
• Patient Assistance: help patients understand insurance benefits and patient assistance programs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: work with internal and external teams to optimize access and liaise with HUBs/pharmacies.
• Compliance: ensure activities comply with policies and regulations.
• Data Analysis: monitor reimbursement trends and provide insights.
• Field Visits: visit providers to offer hands-on support.
• Patient Access Leadership: develop tactical plans to improve access.
• Strategy and Execution: support program strategy and collaborate with access partners.
