Job summary

Project Resources Group (PRG) seeks an Access Coordinator for its New York City operations. This field-first role involves securing and documenting property access for construction and network projects, with daily field visits to residential and commercial properties.

You will work with owners, managers, and building staff to keep items moving, travel across the market, and maintain professional communication. A valid driver’s license and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a field-based, customer-facing, or coordination role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and confidence engaging with people at all levels.
• Persistence and follow-through — you don't let open items stall.
• Ability to work independently in the field with minimal day-to-day supervision, while collaborating with a broader team.
• Travel throughout the assigned market is required.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned residential and commercial properties throughout the market, often several per day.
• Identify the right decision-makers and coordinate with property owners, managers, superintendents, and staff to secure site access.
• Explain project needs clearly and obtain required information, approvals, and documentation before work begins.
• Document access restrictions, property conditions, contacts, and issues affecting scheduled work.
• Photograph and document field conditions as needed and keep detailed records in tracking systems.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of properties and follow open items through to resolution, escalating when appropriate.
• Prioritize daily activities around construction schedules and project priorities.
• Work with construction crews and project teams, providing timely status updates.
