Job summary

Malibu Boats, Inc. in Cobalt TN (Lenoir) is seeking a Grinder to prep fiberglass parts by grinding, trimming, drilling, and cutting using established measurements, drill guides and templates.

You will move parts into the grinding booth, use hand, power and pneumatic tools, and read work orders or prints to lay out options. The role requires basic math and reading skills, and safety PPE is mandatory; typical 10-hour shifts with overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• General math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Move parts into the grinding booth and prepare for grinding.
• Grind, trim, drill and cut parts using hand, power and pneumatic tools.
• Read work orders and layouts to lay out options.
• Maintain general housekeeping and keep track of the dust filter log.
• Meet production schedules and tack times.
