Job summary

Fluid Motion, LLC, a premier boat manufacturer and parent company of Ranger Tugs and Cutwater Boats, seeks a Grinder for fiberglass components. The role covers prep, shaping, and finishing surfaces to meet production and quality standards, using hand and power tools to trim, grind, and finish parts.

The position is full-time on a first shift (5:00 AM–1:30 PM). Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K with employer match, PTO, life insurance, and more.

Responsibilities

• Applies gelcoat by brush to underside of parts per specifications.
• Cuts excess fiberglass from part edge.
• Examines laminated parts for defects.
• Examines material is cut to measurements.
• Mixes polyester putty and hardener according to specifications and applies mixture to bonding area.
• Removes burrs and rough surfaces from fiberglass parts with hand file or portable pneumatic grinder.
• Must have the ability to demold parts and trim to specifications
