Job summary

Aerotek in Fort Dodge, IA is seeking an assembler for a contract-to-hire role on a fully onsite 1st shift. The position supports fiberglass fabrication with welding, grinding, and quality-in-process checks.

You will follow a daily production schedule, verify specifications, and document activities accurately while collaborating with a department supervisor. Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of manufacturing experience, familiarity with MIG/TIG welding, and the ability to safely operate

Qualifications

• 6+ months of manufacturing experience, including welding, grinding, and fiberglass.
• Experience with welding positions, including MIG and TIG, aluminum, and stainless.
• Experience using grinders in fiberglass areas.

Responsibilities

• Follow the daily production schedule and achieve specified goals.
• Ensure products conform to specifications.
• Prevent and minimize rework.
• Perform standard operating procedures of production and inspection functions as directed.
• Return from breaks on time and notify lead before leaving the department.
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork as directed.
• Attend all department and company scheduled meetings.
• Work the scheduled shift as assigned.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Immediately report all accidents and deficiencies to the lead/supervisor.
