Ethos in Cedar Falls, IA is seeking a Fabrication Welder for the 1st shift with excellent benefits and competitive compensation. The role involves welding large and small weldments, reading blueprints, and laying out parts to meet production schedules.

You will be expected to pass a weld test, read prints, and fabricate parts as required with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Health benefits, retirement plans, and paid time off are included in the package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Proficient in measuring and calculating fractions and decimals.
• Must be able to utilize various measurement tools, including calipers, squares, and tape measure.
• Must pass a weld test.

Responsibilities

• Weld large and small weldments as per blueprint specifications.
• Produce parts in a timely manner to meet the production schedule.
• Must be able to lay out parts and fabricate as needed, read prints, and pass a weld test.
• Use of wrenches, air tools, grinders, overhead cranes, steel handling, and frequent lifting.
