Job summary

Star Construction LLC is hiring a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew with installing and maintaining fiber/telecom cables and materials. You will provide tools and materials, move heavy equipment, and handle traffic control while following DOT guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and are willing to become certified as a pole climber. Prior telecom labor experience is a plus and willingness to work overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Valid state driver's license with clean record.
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
• Telecommunications labor experience is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
