Job summary

Communications Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial in Rahway, NJ. You’ll support an Aerial Telecom Crew with installing and maintaining fiber/telecom cables and materials, with weekly pay and strong safety standards.

The role requires physical labor, operating hand tools and driving responsibilities; training, overtime and on-call may be required; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (not Provisional) with acceptable driving record
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications before starting work each day
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
