Communications Construction Group, LLC in Rahway, NJ is hiring a Telecommunications Laborer to support an Aerial Telecom Crew with fiber/telecom cable installation and maintenance. This field, hourly role offers hands-on training and opportunities to work with a skilled team.

You’ll provide tools and materials, help move equipment, complete door-tagging and resident notifications, stock and service vehicles, and perform hand digging.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for the company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license (not Provisional) with acceptable driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure that door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Telecommunications Laborer - Rahway, NJ is$23.00 - $26.00.
