Metronet is seeking a Fiber Technician to install and troubleshoot high‑speed internet, phone, and TV from fiber terminal to customer premises. You’ll educate customers on products, handle service changes, and support repair activities.

You will work on-site in residential and business environments, with duties including on-call rotations, overtime, and occasional travel for training. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in telecom/fiber preferred but not required.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and climb ladders to 25 ft.
• Ability to work in varying conditions and travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot MetroNet services from terminal to CPE.
• Provide in-depth customer education on MetroNet products.
• Earn commissions by explaining services to customers.
• Maintain professional standards with customers and peers.
• Meet key performance metrics and handle on-call duties.
