Job summary

Cable Services Company, Inc. is seeking a Fiber Splicer to install and maintain fiber optic systems across multiple sites in the Northeast. The role involves frequent overnight travel and on-call weekends to support emergency restoration.

The position requires reading maps, operating splicing equipment and aerial lifts, and completing accurate job documentation in a time-sensitive environment. A high school diploma and fiber splicing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience splicing all types of fiber optic cables.
• Proficiency with fusion splicers, OTDR, optical power meters and related tools.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and pass background/drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber optic systems.
• Read design maps and fiber schematics to plan splice routes.
• Splice, terminate and route fiber in equipment racks or sites.
• Complete all required documentation (timesheets, reports) accurately.
