Job summary

Pauley Construction, LLC is seeking a Copper Splicer II to join our field team in Las Cruces, NM. You will splice and repair copper networks for telecommunications, perform aerial and underground upgrades, and ensure service reliability for customers.

Typical duties include testing after installation, maintaining safety standards, and documenting work while keeping material usage records. A DOT medical card and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of fiber splicing experience required.
• Knowledge of telecommunications network structure.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network's circuit post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Upgrade existing fiber sheaths with new fiber sheaths.
• Provide guidance to other splicers and document daily production reports.
