Job summary

Communications Construction Group, LLC. is hiring a Fiber Splicer II to install and maintain our telecom network by fusing optical fibers both aerially and underground. You will test, activate, and troubleshoot circuits after installation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid US driver's license, and the ability to pass a DOT physical for a medical card. Prior fiber splicing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of fiber splicing experience or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a valid medical card.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
