Job summary

Texstar Enterprises, LLC seeks a Fiber Splicer II in Selma, TX to fuse optical fibers and maintain our telecom network. You will perform aerial and underground splicing, test and troubleshoot circuits after installation, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of fiber splicing experience required.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• Must pass DOT physical exam and have a valid medical card.
• Valid State driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial and underground fiber splicing and upgrades.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot circuits after installation.
• Ensure splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Upgrade fiber sheaths and manage entry via mid-sheath work.
• Provide guidance to other splicers as needed.
• Complete daily maintenance of vehicles and document work in production reports.
