Job summary

Project Resources Group (PRG) seeks an outside plant route-based Construction Coordinator in Dallas, TX. You will be the eyes and ears on the ground for our fiber networks, planning routes and addressing issues before they escalate.

You must have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. Compensation offers $30–$35 per hour with the potential for an annual bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Reliable, well-maintained personal vehicle.
• Dependability — punctual and reliable.
• Sharp attention to detail when reviewing tickets, maps, and prints.
• Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physical ability to walk, bend, sit, stand, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools for reporting and communication.
• Knowledge of underground utilities and local dig laws is a plus.
• Strong understanding of fiber engineering fundamentals.
• Customer service instincts to interpret and deliver client needs.
• Strong organizational and multi-task prioritization.
• Clear written and verbal communication tailored to audience.
• Rain-or-shine mindset — work continues in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Receive your daily assignments and plan your route.
• Drive an assigned fiber route on a recurring basis with substantial windshield time.
• Visit and monitor existing fiber routes, watching for risks to the line.
• Review and reference 811 locate tickets, maps, and prints to stay ahead of digging activity.
• Provide first-level support for minor issues and mitigate potential failure points.
• Log and report changes in infrastructure or conditions along the route.
• Verify quality, accuracy, and adherence of work under our SOW.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
