Job summary

PRG in Greensboro, NC seeks an outside plant Construction Coordinator to be the eyes and ears on the ground for fiber networks. You will route-plan, drive, monitor routes, and address issues before they escalate.

This field role requires a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. You will coordinate with customers, contractors, and homeowners, keeping detailed records and ensuring quality under the SOW.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Reliable personal vehicle in good condition for field work.
• Dependability and punctuality in meeting schedules.
• Detail-oriented when reviewing tickets, maps, and prints.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily assignments and plan the route.
• Drive an assigned fiber route with substantial windshield time.
• Visit and monitor existing fiber routes for potential risks.
• Review 811 locate tickets and maps to stay ahead of digging activity.
• Provide first-level support for minor issues and mitigate failures.
• Log and communicate changes in infrastructure along the route.
• Report to field to verify work quality against the SOW.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
