Job summary

Project Resources Group (PRG) seeks an outside plant expert to join as a route-based Construction Coordinator. You’ll be the eyes and ears on fiber networks, running an assigned route and addressing issues in the field, not at a desk. Outdoors work, long drives, and problem-solving on-site are essential.

You'll receive daily assignments, travel across a fiber route, and report any infrastructure changes. Competitive hourly pay and potential bonus emphasize hands-on field performance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Reliable personal vehicle in good condition.
• Dependability and punctuality.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk long distances.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing tickets/maps.
• Experience with Microsoft tools for reporting.
• Knowledge of underground utilities is a plus.
• Fiber engineering fundamentals helpful.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily assignments and plan the route.
• Drive an assigned fiber route with daily windshield time.
• Visit and monitor existing fiber routes for risks.
• Review locate tickets, maps, and prints to stay ahead.
• Provide first-level issue mitigation before escalation.
• Log changes in infrastructure along the route.
• Verify quality and adherence to the SOW in the field.
• Communicate clearly with clients, contractors, and homeowners.
