Job summary

FiberTel, LLC in Springville, UT is seeking a Project Controller to partner with Project Managers and Directors to manage the financial health of active and planned projects. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, capable of translating financial data into actionable insights to drive project outcomes.

Pay is DOE and the role requires 2+ years in Construction/Finance with proficiency in Excel and financial systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Construction/Finance experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Construction, Business or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.).
• Proficiency with financial systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
• Experience working in an environment that involves multiple projects.
• Understanding of data analysis and forecasting.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Support most aspects of accounting management.
• Develop, maintain, and refine project budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Collaborate with managers and directors to establish financial baselines and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Experienced in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn and work in other software, like corporate systems and Foundation.
• Will prepare financial reports associated with project controls.
• Manage journal entries and reconcile accounts for the monthly or annual closing.
• Participate in preparation for audits.
• Help in the development of reports for management or regulatory bodies.
• Prepare, examine, and/or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports.
