Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• 5+ years in the telecommunications industry with OSP, fiber optics, and project management.
• Working knowledge of structured cabling, routing, switching, and IP protocols.
• 4+ years analyzing fiber optic test results (OTDR, OLTS, FIP, CD/PMD).
• Familiarity with EXFO/Viavi/Anritsu test tools and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Analyze OSP dark fiber test data, OTDR, power meter, FIP, CD & PMD for reports.
• Identify issues, inefficiencies, or improvements in networks.
• Maintain documentation of test results and network performance.
• Prepare technical documentation for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and PMs to meet standards.
• Ensure QA and safety compliance during testing and analysis.
• Coordinate with internal resources to complete projects timely.
• Validate test settings (wavelength, duration, method) per customer requirements.
• Review dark fiber performance to detect system integrity issues.
