R&P Technologies is looking for a Master Technical Fiber Optic Technician, with waterfront knowledge under the supervision of a Lead Technician Level IV. The technician will provide training to Technician Level II and I personnel, report all task completions and production reporting to their Lead Technician, and be capable of standing in as Lead Technician when required. Ensure that all work performed is in accordance with ship specification requirements while complying with all OSHA, NAVSEA, ABS, local shipyard, and R&P safety policies and procedures. Execute plans of electrical and fiber installations to include, but not limited to, 115VAC/440VAC/Various VDC equipment, fiber optics, lighting, announcing, RF antennas, audio/video, interior communications and alarms, and network systems. They will operate efficiently in a team environment and demonstrate effective leadership qualities while dealing with junior personnel. Receive mentorship/guidance from Lead Technician or Task Lead for questions on any assigned tasks that are not fully understood.
