Job summary

CS Contract Solutions is seeking a Fiber I&R Technician to install, maintain, and repair fiber optic internet services for residential and commercial customers in San Marcos, TX. This full-time, W-2 role is deployed to telecom carrier clients with flexible field work locations as needed.

You will deliver quality installations and provide product education to customers. Paid training is provided; you must bring your own vehicle and tools, pass safety requirements, and commit to overtime and

Qualifications

• Clear communication skills and ability to multi-task in field operations.
• Team coordination with technicians and clients to ensure quality service.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair fiber optic systems for residential and commercial customers.
• Complete pre-install and post-install service verification, ensuring internet/phone/TV if applicable.
• Provide product education to customers to ensure satisfaction and reduce repeat visits.
• Follow all safety rules and OSHA regulations in field environments.
• Maintain scheduled customer appointments and log work orders/time accurately.
• Meet minimum metrics for Repeats, Productivity, and Completions.
• Assist other technicians and adapt to new processes.
