Job summary

Wire 3 LLC seeks a full-time field technician to conduct outdoor utility work, including trenching and installing fiber optic infrastructure. You will operate in varied environments and must pass DOT drug/alcohol testing in compliance with federal regulations. A valid CDL is preferred, with wage scales higher for CDL holders.

Expect at least 40 hours per week in an active, safety-conscious role with strong emphasis on teamwork and on-site safety.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NESC, OSHA, and state/local codes.
• Ability to identify priority issues and address them.
• Strong focus on safety and procedures, with attention to details.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Report to crew leader or foreman and prepare materials for transport.
• Set up equipment, including drills and water tanks, at sites.
• Install and maintain underground utilities and perform trenching tasks.
• Identify underground wiring and conduct daily safety analyses.
• Secure work sites and ensure public and job site safety at shift end.
• Comply with safety regulations and protect utilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
