Job summary

CITADEL Pacific Ltd. is seeking a Construction Technician for the BEAD Project in the Northern Mariana Islands. This temporary position supports island-wide external plant maintenance and extensions under the Outside Plant Supervisor.

Responsibilities include digging, installing fiber/cable lines, microducts, handholes, conduits, clearing vegetation, and assisting fiber blowing activities. The role requires a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Driver's license & ability to obtain and maintain a valid chauffeurs license.
• Two (2) years of relevant work experience in construction work is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and run new cable lines, microducts, and conduits for both underground and cable plants which would involve the digging of groundwork.
• Install handholes.
• Assist in fiber blowing activities.
• Secure fiber lines, cable lines and hardware.
• Clear vegetation encroaching on cable lines and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
